🍜 Thai Basil Chicken (Pad Krapow Gai) 🍜

A spicy, aromatic stir-fry that puts Thai basil front and center—this is street food comfort at its best.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Celery Farm Thai Basil leaves
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 red chilies, thinly sliced (adjust for spice level)
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Cooked jasmine rice (for serving)
  • Fried egg (optional, but traditional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and chilies, sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add ground chicken, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Stir-fry until no longer pink.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Cook for 1–2 minutes until well mixed.
  4. Turn off the heat and fold in Thai basil until wilted.
